Peter Becker Community is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering independent living, personal care and skilled nursing accommodations on one campus of nearly 100 acres in Harleysville, PA. Peter Becker Community is a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation and is exempt from the payment of federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).
The community operates under a "fee for service" model whereby residents pay only for the services they use, manage their own expenses and maintain maximum control over their finances.
Peter Becker Community serves approximately 400 residents living independently in apartments and cottages and approximately 100 residents in personal care and skilled nursing facilities.
Peter Becker Community offers four distinct types of independent living units--two apartment-style accommodations and two cottage-style arrangements. All residents may share in community amenities including a campus shuttle service, free membership in an on-site YMCA, four dining venues, a full-service pharmacy, gift shops, banking offices, an on-site dental practice, library, computer stations and a host of social, recreational and spiritual activities to engage the mind and body.
