Impact Thrift Stores is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose primary mission is to financially support local charities through the net proceeds generated by our thrift store operations. Our financial support of these local non-profits enables their staff to spend more time doing what they do best—feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, and supporting children and families in need.

How long have you been in business?
Impact Thrift Stores has been in business since 2001, opening it's first store in Hatboro. Since then it has grown to 4 stores including that first Hatboro location and adding a location in Montgomeryville, Norristown and Feasterville (Bucks County.)
What is your primary product or service?
Impact Thrift Stores is truly a small department store. We accept and sell donated items of every variety including clothing, shoes, books, electronics, furniture, housewares and more. We also offer free pickup of items that are too large or heavy to fit in your car.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a non-profit which financially supports 16 locally based charities through the net-proceeds generated by our 4 thrift stores. In addition, we employ over 200 people in the region between our 4 retail stores and donation processing center. We accept merchandise donations at each of our stores, hold
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have 4 locations; Hatboro, Montgomeryville, Norristown and our newest location in Feasterville, Bucks County. We do have plans to expand in the coming years but not the immediate future.

What type of payments do you accept?
We accept most credit cards and cash.
Which areas do you service?
Three of our stores are in Montgomery County, the fourth is in Lower Bucks County. Our trucks are on the road 6 days per week, picking up donations in the 5 county Philadelphia area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Impact Thrift Stores is a 501(c)(3) non-profit which is run by a Board of Directors. On a day-to-day basis, our stores and company are run by our CEO, Directors and Store Managers. All of their names can be found on our website.
What are your hours of operation?
Our stores are open from 9 am to 8 pm Monday through Saturday with 2 exceptions. Our Hatboro store closes at 6 pm on Saturday and our Feasterville store is open from 9 am to 9 pm daily. All stores are closed on Sunday.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The best compliment we could receive would be... "Wow! Is this really a thrift store?"
